Furniture Warranty


The Wood Reserve Furniture Co. offers a warranty covering defects in workmanship, materials, and construction of our furniture for a period of one year.

If a defect is found during that period, we will either repair or replace the defective item, or substitute a different item. The final decision is at the discretion of The Wood Reserve

Our warranty is valid only where customer maintains a humidity level in the range of 35%-45%.  If furniture is stored in areas with humidity levels outside of that range, splitting of wood is possible and will not be covered under this warranty. 

Our warranty is not transferable to another owner. 

Small marks, dents, and scratches are normal for solid wood furniture and will occur over the lifetime of your furniture. Our goal is that you receive your furniture in perfect condition and we take responsibility for all damage that may occur while it is in our possession or in the possession of our shipping partners.

Minor scratches or dents that may occur during the delivery process can usually be touched up on site. We can send touchup paint/stain and/or send a local furniture repair person to make any repairs that may be necessary.

If any shipping damages occur that are not minor and may require more than just touchups, you can refuse the shipment to be sent back to our woodshop for repair and we would request that our customers take photos of the damage so we can file an insurance claim with the shipper.

We do not offer warranty replacements based on color preference. The paint and stain colors that are offered on our website may look slightly different in person than it does on your computer monitor. We encourage customers to order finish samples if you would like to verify the color before making a purchase.

We will, however refinish or replace your furniture in the very rare ocassion that it is finished in a color different than what you specified on your order. Make sure to review your order details once the order is placed to make sure all the details are accurate.

Non-Warranty Repairs:

Damage done to the furniture after delivery is the responsibility of the customer. We will do what we can to help you with minor repairs, touch up, etc. for free or a nominal charge depending on the issue. On rare occasions we may send items back to the builder for repair. Shipping and repair charges will apply in these cases.
