Re-Growing Our American Forests

One-Product-One-Tree / One Tree Planted for Every Product Sold

One-Product-One-Tree

One of the things that we take pride in here at The Wood Reserve is providing products that are built from sustainable or reclaimed materials, as well as helping to re-grow our American forests by planting a tree for every product sold.

Thanks to our partnership with the National Forest Foundation our One-Product-One-Tree campaign can become a reality.

Sustainability has always been important to us especially because we work with wood products and that is also why we made sure to partner with as many wood shops as we could that source their lumber domestically from sustainable forests. This means that the trees harvested to provide wood for our products are replaced by new trees that can regrow in their place.

National Forest Foundation

Since the majority of our products are built right here in the United States, we wanted to partner with an organization that focuses on American Forest Conservation. The National Forest Foundation does an amazing job of educating our communities about the importance of our National Forests and doing their part to protect and re-grow them.

The National Forest Foundation was created with a simple mission: bring people together to restore and enhance our National Forests and Grasslands. They are the leading organization inspiring personal and meaningful connections to our National Forests, the centerpiece of America's public lands.

Working on behalf of the American public, the NFF leads forest conservation efforts and promotes responsible recreation.

We love the fact that we can involve our customers so they know that a portion of their purchase helps to plant a tree in one of our American forests.

About Our National Forests

National Forests and Grasslands provide Americans with 193 million spectacular acres of wildlands.
  • More than 9,000 miles of scenic byways to drive
  • Almost 150,000 miles of trails to hike
  • More than 4,400 miles of wild and scenic rivers to float
  • At least 5,100 campgrounds in which to pitch our tents
  • And 328 natural pools to swim in

Managed by the U.S. Forest Service, our National Forests host 170 million visits every year. Visitor spending pumps $13.5 billion into our economy annually, sustaining nearly 223,000 jobs in gateway communities.

These lands are the foundation of America’s outdoor recreation heritage and sustain our way of life. They provide water to millions Americans in thousands of communities, clean our air, store carbon, and provide timber, minerals, oil and gas and other resources for industry and communities.

Without these lands, America would be a very different place.

With the help of each of our customers and other community partners like us, we can work together to help sustain and grow our American forests for future generations to enjoy.
