Refund policy
Returns:
You will be eligible for a refund or exchange up to 30 days after your purchase date. (with the exception of custom engraved or our built-to order furniture)
If you return your purchased item within 7-10 days of receipt, you will be eligible for a full refund. If it has been more than 10 days, we can offer you store credit. (some exclusions may apply).
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.
Please do not send your purchase back without contacting us first.
Exceptions:
- Custom engraved products are not eligible for a return/refund, unless there is shipping damage or manufacturer related defects. make sure to always double check your engraving text for errors before submitting your order.
- Most of our furniture is a custom built to order product that will not be eligible for a return/refund or exchange once the build process has been started. If your furniture is damaged during shipping and delivery, we will make sure to repair the damage or replace the item depending on how severe the damage is..
Refunds:
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.
Furniture Cancellations.
Since all of our handcrafted furniture is built-to order for each customer, cancellation requests need to be submitted within 48 hours of placing your order. After this time period, our wood shop has already begun the build process of your furniture and we will not be able to cancel the order or issue a refund.
Build times on average can be anywhere from 4-25 weeks (or more) depending on the furniture type and workload of the wood shop. Each furniture product page has estimated build times listed, but actual build times can vary by less or more than the estimate shown.
The wood shops that we partner with work very hard to complete orders as soon as possible while still maintaining their high standards for heirloom quality furniture. If your furniture is taking longer than the estimated build time shown, please know that there is a good reason for it and we are doing everything possible to get it shipped out to you as soon as possible. We unfortunately can't cancel or refund a furniture order if it is taking longer than the estimated build time, but we will do our best to get it to you as soon as possible.
Furniture is not eligible for return or exchange if the finish color doesn’t appear exactly as it does on our website. Colors may appear slightly different due to computer monitor settings and lighting differences, which is why we recommend ordering finish samples that you can see in person to help choose the right color(s).
Exchanges/Repairs:
We are happy to replace or repair items if they have manufacturer related defects or if they have been damaged during the shipping process. If you need to exchange for the same item, send us an email at contact@thewoodreserve.com for details and return shipping information. (Exclusions may apply)
Lost/Stolen Packages:
Occasionally, packages may get lost or stolen while in transit. This is not very common, but If this happens, we will work with you to file a claim with the carrier and try to resolve the issue.
