Our glorious planet is a place that's made up of various finite resources. As its residents, it is our job to take those resources and use them efficiently and beautifully.

Recycling is essentially the magical action of taking one item and turning it into another. Rework, reuse, repaint, refurbish. Take something old and make it new again.

At The Wood Reserve, we're proud to offer a wide collection of recycled wood products. Whether it's scrap wood that would typically go in the trash, or previously used skateboards and whiskey barrels, the materials used in these products once lived another life and served another purpose.

These gorgeous reinventions are products you can feel good about owning or giving. Revel in the luxury of a purchase that comes with a history all its own.

Here's a few of our favorite recycled wood products!

Why not do things differently this year?

We've chosen some of our favorite stocking stuffer ideas that are perfect for anyone on your list!

When it comes to choosing a great pair of shades, skateboard sunglasses and bamboo sunglasses are our most popular options!

Cassette sunglasses are known for being finely crafted eyewear and the sunnies featured on The Wood Reserve are no exception. Each style is made using durable materials and is available in a variety of polarized lens types and color options.

There's really no wrong answer, but when it comes down to choosing, you have to ask yourself:

Skateboard Sunglasses or Bamboo Sunglasses?

Here's a bit more information on each option.

Recycled Skateboard Sunglasses

Do you want to pay homage to your love of skateboarding? Are you interested in a pair of shades that's a little more unique?

Our skateboard sunglasses are built entirely from recycled skate decks. These designs feature a spectacular layered look and tons of eye-catching color options, like:

• Blue
• Red
• Black

Not only are these eco-friendly sunglasses stylish, but their unique background and look make them an ideal conversation piece.

Classic Bamboo Sunglasses

When customers are shopping for wood sunglasses, one word often comes to mind...bamboo.

Bamboo lends itself perfectly to the classic sunglass styles we've all come to know and love. Our gorgeous options convey a sleek, sophisticated feel that makes them the perfect option for any face shape.

Refinement aside, bamboo sunglasses are also quite practical. Bamboo wood is known for its floating capability - so if you feel like taking these sunnies out on the water, don't worry about them falling in!

Our bamboo sunglasses are available in chocolate bamboo and black bamboo.

Skateboard Sunglasses vs. Bamboo Sunglasses: Either One is Perfect!

Whichever wood type you choose to go with, there's one thing for sure...you'll be receiving a high-quality pair of sunglasses that you'll be proud to wear.

There’s a refined quality to wood that has made it a material to withstand the ages. Its variation of colors and strength, the diverse ebb and flow of its grains…wood of any type brings a level of uniqueness to products that can’t be duplicated.

While consumers are used to finding wood products in certain genres such as furniture and home décor, there’s an expanse of items available that truly push the envelope.

The Wood Reserve is an online retailer that is proud to offer its shoppers a selection of products that can’t often be found other places. If you’re looking for something that can’t be picked up at your local department store, then look no further.

Ryan and Kristen Bergeron, the owners and founders of The Wood Reserve, have a deep admiration for the potential that can be found in a piece of wood. Every cut is a blank canvas that is used to create something distinctive and memorable. As a woodworking hobbyist, Ryan understands the time and effort that goes into these creations and is excited to offer them to each of you.

Many of the items for sale on The Wood Reserve, such as the watches, sunglasses, and bowties are handcrafted in the USA from the finest solid woods available. Many of our vendors even offer a wide array of products that come in rare, exotic woods.

We’re also excited to showcase various options that are made using recycled materials. A few of our vendors use recycled whiskey barrels and skateboard decks to provide us with a unique collection of one-of-a-kind items.

When you shop amongst our incomparable inventory of wood products, you are not only receiving stylish alternatives to traditional items like jewelry, flasks, and ink pens, but you are also receiving the confidence that comes from choosing things made from durable wood materials.

In recognition of the depleting wood sources the world over, we have partnered with an incredible organization called Trees for the Future that will help us promote sustainability for our planet. For every item that you purchase, we will plant one tree on your behalf. With your help, we feel that we can truly make a difference.

We’re thrilled that you’ve taken a moment to stop by. Take a look around and enjoy; we hope you’ll be as excited about our products as we are.

When you purchase an item from The Wood Reserve, you’re not just getting a run of the mill product. You’re becoming the owner of a statement piece that will most certainly turn a few heads.
